The Conquerors | Ireland's Premier Wedding & Corporate Entertainers

Good music can mean the difference between a good wedding and an unforgetable wedding and The Conquerors are the band to make that difference. The Conquerors are still regarded as on of the most professional working bands on the entertainment scene and have always believed in recording first class records throughout the years as far back as their first number 1 "Baby Blue".

The Conquerors have managed to hold their own over the years, the formula is simple "give the crowd what they want, good music, first class presentation and a good friendly attitude".

The Conquerors specialise in corporate functions and the wedding market and have now introduced the lovely Lorraine McDonald as lead vocalist and sax player to the band.

Brid Brennan writes.

Many moons ago I worked in the Hazel Hotel when the studio was going and I had the pleasure of meeting Frankie. It was the year that the stars of the Irish Music scene made a record for charity it was a John Lennon song War is Over. I was hoping to organise a night out for the staff that work for me and what better way than to enjoy a really good night with the Conquerors. So if ye are coming down this part of the world will you let me know, it would be great to relive the great craic and of course superb music.

Regards,

Brid Brennan

The liveliest crowd ever. The Toastmasters were brilliant. Danced all night, the floor was always full and when we were leaving to go home they were all singing in the reception of the Sligo park hotel. The Toastmasters rock. Thanks for having us.

Just a few more of Noreen & Pat's wedding

More photos of Noreen & Pat Keating's wedding at the County Arms, Birr

Noreen & Pat Keating's wedding

Had the pleasure of playing for the wedding reception of Noreen & Pat Keating at the County Arms Hotel in Birr last night (Friday).
What a night! Unusually for us, we played where the disco would normally be and there was a band on before us.
Everyone was well ready for a night of fast songs and that's what we gave them.
The floor was always full and I think I could safely say that everyone had a ball.
We did it all, Pop, Rock, Waltzes, Quicksteps, Disco and the odd smoochy one!
Noreen and Pat are a lovely, truly happy couple. Thank you for having us.

Concert in Moate

Played at a concert in the Grand hotel in Moate tonight. The concert was for a local man, Kit geoghagan who had a bad accident but thankfully is recovering well. We had our own slot and then backed a host of great performers including Simon Casey, Robert Mizzell, TR Dallas, Mike Denver, Matt Leavy, Ray Lynam & John Hogan. It was a great night, hugely supported by the local people with everyone entering into the spirit of things.
We wish Kit all the best for a full and speedy recovery.

Dancing at the Coach House, Ballymote, Co.Sligo

Played at our first dance at the Coach House in Ballymote, Co.Sligo last night (Sunday). What a lively spot. The crowd were brilliant, mad to dance and I think would have danced all night if we hadn't stopped around 01.30.
Looking forward to playing there again soon. Ballymote rocks!

Fiona & Adrian Conway's wedding

We played at Fiona & Adrian Conway's wedding in Hineys of Crossmolina Friday. A really nice evening with loads of dancing including a set by a troupe of Irish dancers. Hineys provided a really good buffet supper during the evening. Well done.
Fiona & Adrian are a lovely couple and we wish them a long and happy life together. They are pictured here with Lorraine & Paul from the Conquerors.
