The Conquerors | Ireland's Premier Wedding & Corporate Entertainers
Good music can mean the difference between a good wedding and an unforgetable wedding and The Conquerors are the band to make that difference. The Conquerors are still regarded as on of the most professional working bands on the entertainment scene and have always believed in recording first class records throughout the years as far back as their first number 1 "Baby Blue".
The Conquerors have managed to hold their own over the years, the formula is simple "give the crowd what they want, good music, first class presentation and a good friendly attitude".
The Conquerors specialise in corporate functions and the wedding market and have now introduced the lovely Lorraine McDonald as lead vocalist and sax player to the band.
Serious fun last night at Aisling Reynolds & Owen Walters wedding reception at the Mullingar Park hotel. What a party. Aisling rocked the house when she sang Tina Turner. Thanks for having us, Still smiling!
Loads of men in Kilts at the Pontoon bridge hotel! Paul & Anne Marie Murray chose a beautiful setting for their wedding. There was Irish dancing, the fabulous Madcaps from Wexford, so funny and of course the Conquerors for non stop dancing! What more could you want!
Just back from two great nights at the Pier head Kinvara. Just like the old days when the Bars were full and fun with everybody out for a good time. Forgot the camera so no photos this time. Sorry!
ad a great day at the Donamon castle open day near Roscommon. Weather was mighty, loads of families out for the picnic. Well done the organisers. Check out the photos!
We played at Declan & Mary O'Connor's wedding at the Downhill in Ballina, Co.Mayo last night. A lovely couple. There was one very happy chap there when we did "Baby Blue" for him. The younger guests loved "The Black eyed peas" and our own "Lady Gaga" in the yellow dress!
Great night in the Galway bay hotel at James and Dolores McAndrew's wedding. Dolores' father was the star, never stopped dancing all night. We played Jimmy Buckley's "Your wedding day"as a special request for the Bride and her Dad.
Played at Siobháin Casement & Cathal Fahy's wedding at beautiful Coolbawn Quay on Lough Derg on Friday last. Even the rain held off for a great night's dancing beside the lake.
Off to Westport last saturday for a very lively night of dancing at Fiona Corcoran & Gary McNicholl's wedding at the Castlecourt hotel. I think the "Siege of Ennis" and the "Paul Jones" were the highlights!
